153 Fish Camp began as an idea in the Summer of 2002, when founder and president Mark Gunkel took a few guys fishing to Whale Pass, Alaska. While they focused on fishing, Mark couldn't help but think what a great opportunity it might be to take other men to this wonderful spot, how this Alaska wilderness experience could bring men closer to God. He took another group of men the next Summer, and well, here we are!
