How to Get Here
Fish Camp is remote (that’s one reason we love it!). We are located on the north end of Prince of Wales Island, near the small community of Whale Pass.
The most affordable way to get here is to carpool from the the lower 48 through Canada to Prince Rupert, BC. From there you can leave your vehicle and walk on the ferry to Ketchikan. From Ketchikan you can take the Inter-Island Ferry to Hollis on Prince of Wales Island where we will meet you. Please schedule your arrival to catch the 3:30 pm Ketchikan to Hollis ferry on Sunday and the 8:00am Saturday morning ferry that arrives in Ketchikan at 11am.. You could also drive on the ferry but the vehicle fees are quite a bit more expensive. For ferry information click on these links:

For those less adventurous (or on a tight time schedule), you can fly commercially via Alaska Air to Ketchikan and take the ferry to Hollis or, fly into Wrangell and take a chartered jet boat or float plane to Whale Pass. Several charter float plane companies are available. But, you will miss an outstanding ferry ride and the drive up the island to Whale Pass!
There are several cab companies that will take you from the airport to the Inter-Island Ferry dock. Or, if you have time and stamina, you can take the ferry from the airport, across to Ketchikan (it costs $5.00), and then walk the several blocks to the ferry terminal.
