153 Fish Camp
Growing closer to God by enjoying His creation

Donate
It is our heart to provide the experience of 153 Fish Camp at the minimum cost necessary for each camper. We use all camp fees to directly fund the operational costs of the ministry (fuel, groceries, maintenance repairs, etc.) We trust God to provide the funds by donation for all capital expenses (new boats, new vehicles, major construction projects, etc.)
It is by grace of God through the donations of many that 153 Fish Camp has been able to operate and grow since 2004. You can rest assured that your donation will be used for a direct and meaningful asset that will directly benefit all campers for years to come.
153 Fish Camp is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.

Current Needs
Additional Halibut Boat

We would like to purchase a second halibut boat, one that we can use for additional groups to go out fishing to more places. Having a second boat would let campers go troll for kings and coho and fish on the west side of the island for halibut and lingcod while our current boat fishes Red Bay and Snow Pass like normal.
We are specifically looking for a 22′ – 24′ welded aluminum ocean-going boat with a cabin and a minimum outboard size of 100hp with a separate kicker. This boat should be able to fish up to six people.
Alternatively, we are also more than willing to accept a donated boat that fits these parameters, providing one becomes available.
Estimated Cost: $40,000
Building Improvements

We are raising money to improve the camp so that it can stay open for more weeks into the Fall. Here are the specific building projects we are raising money for:
– A new floor and plumbing for the first bathroom building
– Heaters for all bathrooms
– A toilet and lift station for the third bathroom
– New walkways, decking, and concrete footers underneath the freezer and tackle shack
– Concrete footers under the upper cabin
– Insulation and wall coverings for all sleeping cabins
– Insulation for the floor of the main lodge
– Improved heating in all buildings
Estimated Cost: $20,000
Equipment Upgrades

To expand the fishing opportunities for campers, we are wanting to upgrade some of our current camp equipment. Here is what we’re wanting to purchase:
– Two 30-35hp outboards for our flat-bottom skiffs
– One new boat trailer for the flat-bottom skiffs
– One additional camp vehicle (if funding permits)
Estimated cost: $18,000
